The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust is inviting members of the public to attend the first in-person ‘behind the scenes’ event since 2019 at Brierley Hill Health and Social Care Centre this October.
This exclusive event will take place on Thursday 24th of October 2024, offering a unique opportunity to explore some of the essential services provided by the Trust to the local community.
The event is designed to showcase key services in a way that offers the public a closer look at the incredible work being done behind the scenes. Attendees will have the opportunity to gain insight into the operations of several important departments and teams, including pharmaceutical health, virtual wards in medicine, the Clinical HUB and leg ulcer care.
In addition, various other departments will be in attendance to answer questions and explain how their services benefit the local population. These include, the Lung Health Screening Programme, Podiatry, Care Home Education Team (CHET), Continence, practice development nurses, Community Musculoskeletal Assessment and Physiotherapy Service, Paediatric Virtual Ward, Ultrasound, Medical Photography and Cardiology and the Dudley Improvement Practice Team.
