Ms Zafar graduated from Pakistan in 1990 with distinction. She did her specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology in the west midlands and was appointed as consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at Russells Hall Hospital in 2010.
She established a multidisciplinary obstetric clinic combined with haematologists in 2010, providing evidence-based care to patients with haematological/thromboembolic conditions during pregnancy. She has a special interest in medical education, having have served as RCOG college tutor from 2011 till 2017 and then took over the role of Trust’s postgraduate clinical tutor. She is currently the clinical director for Women & Children’s services.
She performs general obstetrics and gynaecology and provides specialist clinics such as colposcopy. She is passionate about her profession and endeavours to provide excellent care to patients.
