The Dudley Group has a range of purpose built facilities to allow high quality clinical research to be carried out within the Trust. This includes a clinical research unit which contains outpatient facilities consisting of consulting rooms and a bedded treatment bay as well as exercise and physiology labs.
The unit also includes a fully equipped Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP) research laboratory providing the following services:
• Deep freeze storage
• ELISA
• Centrifugation
• DNA extraction
• Real time PCR
• Flow cytometry
• Western blotting
