Members of the public are invited to attend the Annual Members’ Meeting for The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust at Russells Hall Hospital on Thursday 11th September.
Chief Executive Paula Clark will present a summary of the Trust’s performance throughout 2013/14 and give an overview of what to expect in the current financial year.
Chairman John Edwards said, “I’m extending an invitation to the people of Dudley and beyond to find out more about how we, as a Trust, have performed and our plans for the future.”
Guests will also have the chance to take part in a Meet Your Experts event and speak face to face with frontline staff who work in the Emergency Department.
“We are keen to help the public understand more about the complexity of our emergency services. We treat such a wide range of patients so we always have to make sure we are ready for the next patient coming through those doors” said Dr Rajan Paw, Clinical Director for Acute Medicine.
Specialist teams from pharmacy and diagnostics will also be on hand to talk about the vital work they do for patients.
The event runs from 4.30pm to 8pm and free parking is available.
Registration and light refreshments are available from 4pm.
Anyone wishing to attend should reserve a seat as places are limited by calling (01384) 321124 or emailing foundationmembers@dgh.nhs.uk.
