The Dudley Group NHS Charity’s flagship Glitter Ball event is back for its fourth year.
The business gala dinner brings together local businesses for an evening of networking and entertainment. This year’s Glitter Ball will be taking place on November 14th at the Copthorne Hotel in Brierley Hill, Dudley.
The event is held to raise funds for a particular appeal or to go towards funding staff health and wellbeing projects. Last year’s event raised over £16,000 from sponsorship and table packages, as well as from the generosity of the attendees who bought raffle tickets and auction prizes.
This year’s event will be raising vital funds for the charity’s dementia appeal, which supports patients who are living with dementia, either at home or in the Forget-me-not Unit in Russells Hall Hospital. Guests will be treated to welcome drinks, a luxury two course meal, and evening entertainment.
The evening will also feature a range of speakers from the Trust, who will be sharing their experiences of dementia and how charitable funds have helped them to improve the experiences of their patients.
Diane Wake, chief executive of The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust said: “Meeting local businesses at the Glitter Ball is a brilliant opportunity to share stories and strengthen our relationships within the local community. We have been overwhelmed by the amazing support that has been showcased over the past three years, further cementing the wonderful work of our charity.”
The charity is looking for local businesses to support the charity through sponsorship opportunities or purchasing table packages for the glamorous evening. There are premium and standard tables packages available to purchase.
