We anticipate some union members will be taking industrial action on Monday 24th November 2014 between 7am and 12 noon in a dispute with the government over pay.
We hope this will have limited impact on you and we have been working closely with front line clinical staff and senior managers to minimise disruption.
However, it is very important that if you have not been contacted by hospital staff that you attend your appointments at as normal.
Scans and X-rays for emergency patients will be available as normal and all outpatient clinics at Russells Hall Hospital, and Corbett and Guest outpatient centres will be running as planned.
However, there will no routine X-ray service during the strike period at Russells Hall Hospital, Corbett or Guest outpatient centres and, therefore, you will not be able to have an X-ray until after 12 noon.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused for those of you whose procedures have been rescheduled.
Patients are asked to only use Accident and Emergency if absolutely necessary.
