Industrial action planned for Monday 20th October 2014
We anticipate some members of the Society of Radiographers will be taking strike action between 9am and 1pm on the Monday 20th October.
We hope this will have limited impact on you any have been working closely with senior managers and front line staff to minimise disruption.
Scans and X-rays for emergency patients will be available as normal and all outpatient clinics at Russells Hall Hospital, and Corbett and Guest outpatient centres will be running as planned.
However, there will no routine X-ray service during the strike period at Corbett or Guest and, therefore, you will not be able to have an X-ray until after 1pm.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused for those of you whose procedures have been rescheduled.
However, it is very important that if you have not been contacted by hospital staff that you attend your appointments at as normal.
Patients are asked to only use Accident and Emergency if absolutely necessary.
