On Sunday 27th April, the Dudley Group NHS Charity Runner, Adam Cotterill, will be running
along with 50,000 other runners in the iconic London Marathon.
Adam, whose wife Louise is a midwife within the maternity department at Russells Hall Hospital, has decided to raise funds for the charity’s baby loss and bereavement appeal.
Adam said, “The team provide such an important service at such an incredibly difficult time for families so to be able to help raise funds for resources for them, is a fantastic opportunity”.
Adam is an experienced runner with 15 years of competing in half marathons and local races. This year, for his 40th birthday, he wants to secure a Guinness World Record by running the fastest time in a unicorn costume.
The charity is asking the public to support Adam by donating to his fundraising page, to help him reach his ambitious target of raising £2,000 for the charity. Please scan the QR code below.
