It is very important to say that the risk to other patients who were on the same ward as the patient with TB is minimal. We have only contacted them as a precautionary measure.
If patients haven’t had a letter from us, they have not had any contact with the patient and should not be concerned.
Patients who have received a letter have been given a contact number to ring if they are at all worried.

We have not been hit by the cyber attack on the NHS. If you have an appointment next week, you should attend as normal. You don’t need to call our switchboard to check.

Emails to and from the trust are not currently being sent or received as a precaution against the NHS cyber attack. We are not affected but staff should not open emails or attachments already received if they do not know who they are from. This advice extends to NHS Mail (nhs.net) users.
