Inpatients at Russells Hall Hospital will be stepping back in time as they join the nation in celebrating the 75th Anniversary of VE day. Patients on wards C3 and B6 will be served a traditional feast including faggots and bread and butter pudding.

Corbett Outpatient Centre, which was closed due to a chemical spillage today, will reopen tomorrow, Friday 14th February. Most clinics scheduled for tomorrow are going ahead as planned and patients should attend their appointments as usual. Patients will be notified if this is not the case.

Any patient whose appointment was cancelled today will be contacted and offered an alternative clinic slot.

The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust has welcomed 34 new graduate nurses and another one who is returning to practice. They will now work on hospital wards and across the community after completing their three-year nursing degrees at a variety of universities. Many of the new nurses spent time with the Trust on placement.
