The Dudley Group NHS Charity has launched their Easter Egg Appeal for patients across The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust which includes Russells Hall Hospital, Corbett Outpatient Centre, and Guest Outpatient Centre for a second year!

The charity is appealing to local businesses, and the public in Dudley, to spread cheer, joy and smiles this Easter by gathering as many chocolate eggs as possible for patients across the Trust.

Diane Wake, chief executive of The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust, said “Our charity plays a central role in enhancing the experiences of our patients and Easter is no exception! We hope the public can continue in offering their generous support for this appeal.”

Amy Sargent, lead nurse on the Forget Me Not Unit at Russells Hall Hospital said, “Our patients on the ward love these Easter treats, all donations make a real difference to our patient experience.”
Janet Moone, patient on Forget Me Not Unit said, “for a choca-holic like me, receiving a chocolate treat in time for Easter is great!”

The Dudley Group NHS Charity supports The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust by enhancing the wellbeing and experience of patients and staff by providing services and facilitates not routinely funded by the NHS or our Trust. Whether it’s a single egg or multiple, all donations are welcome and will make a difference to our patients’ Easter this year.
