Mr Ali is a consultant plastic and reconstructive surgeon and lead breast reconstructive surgeon in the Trust and offers breast reconstructive surgery, skin oncology service and general plastic surgery. He works along with colleagues in the department and the breast team offering immediate and delayed breast reconstructive surgery for patients afflicted with breast cancer and corrective procedures for anomalies of the breast. He started the “one-stop” skin oncology service in 2001 in collaboration with dermatology and minor surgery and offers the skin oncology service participating in the management of patients referred via rapid access clinics. He has a special interest in the method of treatment for correcting deformities using autologous fat transfer which he has been performing within the trust since 2002 and offering training to colleagues from within the Trust, the UK and overseas. He has a special interest in the correction of deformities of facial features.
