Acting chief executive appointed by The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust
The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust is pleased to announce the appointment of an Acting Chief Executive.
Dr Paul Harrison
Dr Paul Harrison will become Acting Chief Executive from the 1st October when existing Chief Executive Paula Clark takes up the reins of University Hospitals of North Midlands.
Paul, who is currently Medical Director for the Trust, will provide continuity of leadership to the organisation and the wider health economy whilst the substantive position is filled.
“I am absolutely delighted to be taking up the position and I look forward to building upon the strong foundations and excellent performance this Trust is well known for,” said Paul.
Paul has worked in the Trust for 19 years and been Medical Director for the last 10 years. He brings a wealth of clinical leadership experience to the Board.
Paul’s medical background is as a clinical haematologist. He is a fellow of both the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathologists. He has chaired a number of national health related committees and continues to undertake work for both of his Royal colleges.

Paul is widely respected and has the organisational knowledge which will enable us to continue to provide excellent patient care whilst we recruit to the substantive post.”
