Due to the junior doctors’ strike action, between 8am and 5pm on Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th April 2016, some appointments and procedures have been rescheduled. If you are affected, you will be contacted directly by a member of staff.
It is very important for you to attend your appointment as normal unless you have been contacted.
If you are in labour during the strike period, you will see no change to your maternity care.
Our priority will be to ensure that safe emergency, urgent and inpatient services are maintained.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused to patients whose procedures and appointments have been rescheduled.
As always, we would ask patients to only use Accident and Emergency if they are facing a serious or life-threatening emergency. If you are unsure about where you should go, you can call NHS111 at any time night or day for free health advice and to be directed towards the most appropriate health service for your needs.
